    Visitation

    Young Child Academy Policy
    November 15, 2001

Parents are allowed to visit the child's classroom at any time. However, interacting at structured times can be very disruptive to the teacher as well as to the other students. If you plan a visit during circle time, music, foriegn language, etc., please be advised that you must sit and observe. Teachers are usually following a specific plan and young children are distracted very easily. Out of respect for the teacher and other children, we ask that you your visits be non obtrusive. If you desire more interaction with your child, we suggest the outsideplay time, lunch time, nap time, and afternoon projects. Also as mentioned previously, parents may come in as guest readers and presenters, but that needs tos, but that needs to be scheduled in advance.
